Andrew Snyder Editorial Director of The Oxford Club discusses his view on where structured products could fit within an investor’s portfolio.
It is important to note that there are apparently some discrepancies between the US and UK structured products and Snyders strong views on the cost of investing and their return potential do not strictly translate across this side of the pond.
However, his suggestions regarding how and when to use structured investments are something with which we and our American cousin can agree, notwithstanding his specification of investor base and the fact that certainly as far as UK Independent Financial Adviser distributed structured products are concerned, the cost of protection has not been one of reduced performance.
This is not compulsory, but we'd like to send you an email once a fortnight with links to new 'Preferred' plans launched in the last two weeks. Also receive a free guide to Structured Products.
